几何分析与退化椭圆型方程高级研讨班

The subject of degenerate elliptic equations on manifolds is an important and difficult field in mathematics. In the past decade, some leading mathematicians obtained many far-reaching results in this field. In order to promote the relevant research in China, we started to organize a series of advanced seminars from 2017. The seminars will be held at Peking University, participated by scholars from Sichuan University, University of Science and Technology of China, Beijing Normal University and Capital Normal University, etc. We plan to hold the second seminar in May 2018. The second seminar will focus on two subjects: metrics with conic singularity and prescribing scalar curvature on toric varieties. We will invite international and domestic experts to participate and to deliver series of lectures on these subjects. We will also invite young scholars and graduate students to participate.

流形上的退化椭圆型方程是数学中重要而困难的领域。近十年以来，国际上一批知名数学家在这一领域取得了许多具有深远意义的结果。为推动我国学者在相关问题上的研究，我们从2017年开始组织这个方向的高级研讨班。研讨班将以北京大学为主开展，包括四川大学、中国科学技术大学、北京师范大学、首都师范大学等大学的参与。我们计划在2018年5月在北京大学组织第二期高级研讨班。研讨班的内容将集中在以下两个主题：具有锥形奇性的度量和环簇上的预定数量曲率问题。我们将邀请一两名国外专家和一些本领域国内高级科研人员集中就本领域的几个专题做系列演讲。同时邀请一些青年学者和研究生参加讨论。
