A fundamental study on screening and improving microbes with genetic engineering was accomplished. The adaptation of mesophilic (T.f., T.t and L.f.), moderately and extremely thermoacidophilic bacteria in the ore pulp containing nickel minerals, the reactions between minerals and bacteria, the bioleaching mechanism and kinetics of nickel minerals, the optimized conditions in the bioleaching technological process for the Ni-Cu complex ore, bioleaching engineering and reactor with high qualities were carried out. A lot of achievements was obtained and some of them were published at first. Based on these fundamental studies, a heap bioleaching test in commercial scale using 5000 t ores, which contain high-grad magnesium and low-grad nickel, was come into opration in Jinchuan Co and it will lay a foundation for the coming commercial production. There have not any report on the similar bioleaching test for this kind of ore in commercial scal.
选育氧化活性强的优良菌种(包括嗜热菌),浸出低品位镍—钴—铜复杂矿,研究浸出机理、影响浸出速率因子和作用规律、反应工程学及高效反应器,提出优化工艺参数,解决生物浸出速度慢、周期长及温度低等带有共性的关键技术问题,并在金川有色金属公司的资助和合作下,结合该镍钴铜矿的资源特点,完成扩大试验和中试设计,为工业应用奠定基础。
