Sarcodon and Catathelasma include many edible mushrooms of important economic values. However, studies on Sarcodon and Catathelasma were restricted in Europe and America prior to this study. They are poorly known in China. The species diversity, geographic distribution and potential resources are kept unrevealed. In addition, scientific names of commercial edible Sarcodon spp. and Catathelasma spp. are still in chaos, and many different species were labeled the same name. This study aims to clarify these questions based on morphological characters, molecular phylogeny, and ecological habits. Sarcodon and Catathelasma will be investigated and collected; morphological studies will be carried out. ITS, RPB2, RPB1 are selected for molecular identification. Sequences generated in this study and download from GenBank will be used for phylogenetic analyses of Sarcodon and Catathelasma, and evaluation of the current infrageneric classification system of Sarcodon. This research is expected to explore new edible species, reveal the high species diversity of Sarcodon in China, enrich species diversity of Catathelasma worldwide. The results are helpful for conservation, rational exploiting and utilization of Sarcodon and Catathelasma, and provide support for establishment a more natural classification system of Sarcodon. This study has scientific significances and applicable values.
肉齿菌属和松苞菇属包括许多常见的野生商品蘑菇,具有重要的经济价值,但长期以来,对它们的研究主要局限于欧美地区。我国对这两个属的认识极为有限,其物种多样性、系统发育关系、地理分布及资源量都不甚了解。此外,市场上常见的这两个属物种名称混乱,许多不同的物种被冠以了相同的名称。本研究拟结合形态学、分子系统学、生态习性等性状澄清这些问题。在前期野外调查的基础上,进一步开展系统的资源调查和标本收集,同时借阅国内外馆藏标本,通过比较形态学研究,利用ITS, RPB2, RPB1, tef1等基因片段对所收集标本进行分子辅助鉴定,更正错误鉴定种类,同时结合自测序列和GenBank中已有数据,重建物种间系统发育关系。研究结果有望揭示出我国肉齿菌属较高的物种多样性水平,丰富世界范围内松苞菇属物种数量,挖掘出新的食用种类,可为这两个属真菌资源保护和合理开发利用提供依据;同时为建立更为合理的分类系统提供数据支撑。
肉齿菌属和松苞菇属包括许多常见的野生商品蘑菇,具有重要的经济价值,但长期以来,对它们的研究主要局限于欧美地区。我国对这两个属的认识极为有限,其物种多样性、系统发育关系、地理分布及资源量都不甚了解。此外,市场上常见的这两个属物种名称混乱,许多不同的物种被冠以了相同的名称。本研究在前期野外调查的基础上,进一步开展了系统的资源调查和标本收集,同时借阅国内外馆藏标本,通过比较形态学研究,利用ITS, RPB2, LSU等基因片段对所收集标本进行了分子辅助鉴定,更正错误鉴定种类,同时结合自测序列和GenBank中已有数据,重建物种间系统发育关系。基于形态学研究和DNA序列分析发现,中国肉齿菌属至少有15个物种,其中13个物种在市场上可见,其中天然产量最大的为翘鳞肉齿菌Sarcodon imbricatus;松苞菇属在我国有4种,均可见于市场,天然产量最大的为壮丽松苞菇Catathelasma imperiale。基于多基因分子系统学分析结果表明,传统意义上依据菌肉是否肉质来区分Sarcodon和Hydnellum这两个属存在一定问题,许多形态上的“Sarcodon”在系统学为Hydnellum,与真正的Sarcodon关系较远。研究发现肉齿菌类新物种8个,松苞菇属新物种1个。研究结果揭示出我国肉齿菌属较高的物种多样性水平,丰富了世界范围内松苞菇属物种数量,挖掘出新的食用种类,可为这两个属真菌资源保护和合理开发利用提供了科学依据;同时为建立更为合理的烟白齿菌科Bankeraceae分类系统提供了数据支撑。
