Human health includes physical and mental health. World Health Organization thinks that mental health is more important than physical health in modern society. This project integrates advanced intelligence technology into affective computing from the perspective of engineering to study mental health computing and quantify the cognitive aspects of mental illness, based on emotional interaction, and eventually creates a brand new research area. Through human health studies, particularly mental health computing and perception, we will set up the measurements and standards of mental health, investigate the relationship between mental health and physiological information, and establish computational methodology from an engineering perspective on mental health. Multiple big databases for mental health computing and perception will be built based on emotional interaction, including text, voice intonation, facial expression, posture, and physiological information. Then mental state transition network will be created through machine learning. The concept of “richness of psychological interiority” of mental health will be proposed and the richness of psychological interiority will be calculated based on outside emotional energy. We will explore the mechanism of emotion state transition based on advanced intelligent concept and establish characterized emotional database according to mental state transition network in order to respond mental health issues promptly. This research has great scientific significance for mental health-aware computing, and will reveal the relations between human mental health and emotion by studying mental health, physiological signal and processing mechanism.
人类健康包括生理健康和心理健康两方面,世界卫生组织认为心理健康比生理健康的意义更重要。本项目基于情感交互运用先进智能技术从工程学角度对心理健康进行定量感知与计算,并将其作为一门新的学问而体系化。通过研究心理健康的量化指标、探讨心理健康与生理信息的相关关系,从而确立从工程角度对心理健康进行感知与计算的理论和方法。首先,构建基于情感交互的多源大数据库,包括语言文本、语音语调、表情动作、姿态、及生理信息数据库;其次,利用深度机器学习方法来研究并构筑心状态转移网络以对心理健康进行感知;然后,提出描述心理健康的心灵充实度概念并研究基于情感交互的外界情感能量来计算心灵充实度的方法;最后,研究情感状态转移机理并以此为基础开发增强心理健康的情感机器人样机。本研究对于探索心理健康多源信号的分析与处理的机理、揭示人类心理健康与情感的相互关系、进而实现用工程方法感知与计算并增强心理健康具有重要科学意义。
