This project will conduct high-energy observations of compact objects in the Galaxy with the DArk Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE). The target sources are pulsars and pulsar wind nebulas, X-ray binaries, and supernova remnants. For pulsars, we will search for their high-energy emission components above the cutoff energies with the DAMPE data, study their spectra in GeV-TeV band, and discuss their high-energy emission models. We plan to search for high-energy emission from pulsar wind nebulas and distinguish their emission mechanisms with detailed studies of the gamma-ray spectra. For X-ray binaries, we will conduct high-energy observations of the known gamma-ray binaries and identify new gamma-ray binaries with the DAMPE data. The GeV-TeV variabilities and spectra of these sources will help to better understand their physical nature. We also plan to study the GeV-TeV spectral behavior of supernova remnants with the DAMPE data and discuss relative emission mechanisms. Supported by this program, we will help obtain a more complete understanding of the high-energy emission behavior of the compact objects in the Galaxy, study their high-energy emission mechanisms, and thus better understand the origins of the high-energy particles in the Galaxy.
本项目主要利用暗物质粒子探测卫星(DAMPE)开展对河内致密星系统的高能观测工作,研究对象为脉冲星及其星风云、X射线双星、超新星遗迹。对于脉冲星,我们将利用DAMPE数据搜索它们在截断能量以上的高能辐射成分、构建脉冲星的GeV-TeV能谱、讨论脉冲星的整体辐射模型;还将搜索来自于其星风云的高能辐射,并通过细致的能谱分析区分脉冲星星风云的高能辐射机制。对于X射线双星,我们将利用DAMPE数据对已知的伽玛射线双星开展高能观测并搜索认证新的伽玛射线双星,对这类源GeV-TeV能段光变曲线及能谱的研究有助于更好的了解这类源的物理本质。我们还将利用DAMPE数据研究超新星遗迹的GeV-TeV能谱行为并讨论相关辐射机制。我们的工作将帮助全面了解河内致密星系统的高能辐射行为、加深对各类源高能辐射机制的了解、从而更深入的探索河内高能粒子起源问题。
通过本项目资助,我们主要利用费米望远镜上面搭载的大视场望远镜的观测数据,开展了对河内致密星系统的高能观测工作,研究对象为脉冲星、X射线双星、超新星遗迹。对于脉冲星,我们对毫秒脉冲星双星系统进行了伽马射线观测,讨论了它们的双星间粒子加速机制;对于X射线双星,我们探测到了一颗具有暂现伽马射线辐射的大质量X射线双星,讨论了它的可能辐射来源,还探测到了微类星体SS 433的伽马射线辐射并讨论了其宽能段辐射模型;对于超新星遗迹,我们探测到SN 1006西南区域的伽马射线辐射,证实了我们在2016年提出的预言。本项目工作涉及到了银河系内最主要的各类高能辐射源,全面研究了它们的高能辐射行为,这对揭示河内致密星的伽玛射线辐射机制有着重要的作用,也为接下来对这些源的DAMPE观测研究打下了良好的基础。
