For multipath fading characteristics of wireless propagation,.efficient path delay estimation, fading coefficents estimation and.multipath interference cancelation are investigated. A fading channel.estimation method is proposed based on pilot and polymonial model, with.good performance in high mobile speed conditions. Adopting the dynamic.channel model recommended by 3GPP, it is investigated the impacts of path.delay hop and delay estimation method parameters on the accuracy of delay.estimates and on the link performance. A multipath interference.cancellation algorithm is proposed and the RAKE receiver structure is.modified. It is also tested the application and behavior of the above.methods in WCDMA link with power control, in WCDMA link with multiple.anttenas, and in cdma2000.
