The purpose of research is to build a kind of cognitive multi-agent system model and put forward a evaluative approach from the cognitive model to the architecture of a multi-agent system based on software components, and construct a distributed and collaborative a multi-agent system using software components. It selects collaborative design a typical application domain, and presents the structure of a design agent with learning mechanism, learning mechanism, and the approach for knowledge representation and knowledge update. Finally, it uses the method of software mainframe plus software components and software bus mechanism, develops a multi-agent software development environment based on software components.
