The project concerns in the strategy research focused on the major research projects of the "Catalysis for conversion of carbon-based energy", which was set up by NSFC in 2015. This project will combine literature research and expert review to carry out a systematic analysis of the results obtained in the past two years. This is of great significance for further coordinating the project and guiding the research focus and direction. This major project, as planned, intends to organize experts from different backgrounds, including chemical, physical, biological, material and information, and focuses on catalytic science in carbon-based energy. Staring from basic sciences to encourage the integration of.research in multiple fields in chemical, physical, material and other subjects, the project aims to propose new concepts, develop new methods, synthesize new materials, and achieve the innovation of catalytic processes. The project focuses on solving key problems in the direct, nonoxidative conversion of coal and natural gas, the direct conversion of syngas, and carbon dioxide utilization and promoting industrial revolution for carbon-based energy to achieve low-water consumption, low emissions and high efficiency. The project will produce a high level research team with reasonable structure, train a group of outstanding young scholars, specializing in theoretical and experimental scientific research, and thus enhance our international competitiveness in this area.
本项目是“碳基能源转化利用的催化基础”重大研究计划的战略研究,本项目将采用数据归纳、文献调研和专家评述等方法对项目执行两年多来取得的研究工作成果从战略层次上进行系统分析研究,这对于进一步协调项目的设置和引导科技人员的研究重点和方向具有重要的意义。本重大研究项目设定的目标是组织化学、物理、生物、材料、信息等不同学科背景的专家,聚焦碳基能源转化利用过程中的催化科学展开研讨,从基础入手,通过化学、物理、材料等多学科和多领域的交叉,提出新概念、发展新方法、创制新材料,实现催化过程和工艺的创新,着重解决煤和天然气非氧转化、合成气直接转化、二氧化碳高效和高值利用等过程的关键问题,推动碳基能源的产业革命,实现低耗水、低二氧化碳排放和高效率。着力从源头上解决我国碳基能源利用的关键科学问题。造就出一支高水平、结构合理的研究队伍,培养一批精于理论和实验科学研究的优秀青年学者,大力提升我国在这一领域的竞争力。
