Recently, nanoscale chiral mirror symmetry breaking has attracted great attention. The chiral phenomenon and photon induced symmetry breaking effects in biological environment are rarely reported. This study aimed to extend asymmetric optical effects of artificial chiral nanoparticles to the life system and explore the behavior of nanoparticles and related life substances. Serious Chiral Semiconductor Nanoparticles(CSN) with good biocompatibility will be prepared and modified with different surface groups. The polarized light absorption and photoelectric conversion performance of CSN will be evaluated before they are incubated with biological molecules or life matrix. Secondly, the incubation conditions will be optimized for CSN and life substances. The interface adsorption between CSN and life molecules will be analyzed. The potential energy exchange process, the conformational changes of related biological molecules and related asymmetric optical effects are systemically studied by irradiation of circular polarized light(CPL). With the theoretical calculation, the manipulation of CSN driven by CPL and resulting photochemical effects will be illustrated. This research is not only meaningful for diagnosis and treatment of important diseases, but also helpful to understand the tuning mechanism of life system.
纳米尺度的手性镜像对称性破缺效应最近引起了极大的关注。圆偏振光与手性半导体纳米材料在生物环境下的对称性破缺效应及其光化学作用,目前还鲜有研究。本项目拟制备生物相容性的对映体手性半导体纳米颗粒,深入研究手性半导体纳米颗粒的偏振光吸收及光电转化性能。将不对称光学效应拓展到生命体系,探索其在生命体系中的行为和生物效应:优化手性纳米颗粒与生物分子、细胞等孵育条件,系统研究不同表面官能团的无机手性纳米颗粒与生物分子的界面相互作用;探索圆偏振光与手性结构之间的能量交换过程、生物分子构象变化和光致不对称化学作用。结合计算机模拟技术,系统分析生物分子-人工手性纳米颗粒晶界面效应、光学性质,阐明光学操控人工手性纳米颗粒的内在机制及其在复杂生命体系中的光化学效应;本研究将为深化生命体系的调控规律认识、重大疾病的诊断与防治等提供基础性和前瞻性技术储备。
纳米尺度的手性镜像对称性破缺效应最近引起了极大的关注。本项目中完成了硫化铜、氧化铜、氧化钴、氧化锰、硫化铜钴、硫化铁等6种新型单分散手性半导体纳米颗粒的制备。系统、深入研究了手性半导体纳米颗粒的偏振光吸收及光电转化性能。发展了氨基酸稳定的胶状无机纳米晶的制备方法;发展了偏振光调控手性硫化铁纳米颗粒和水凝胶的光学响应,探索圆偏振光与手性结构之间的能量交换过程,揭示了光驱动的电子转移介导多肽的特异性剪切作用机制。阐明了人工手性纳米颗粒的光化学效应,为重大传染病防控、疾病诊断干预提供了基础性和前瞻性技术储备。在国际权威期刊发表论文17篇,获得授权国家发明专利3项,培养学生6名。
